Frequently Asked Questions
- What kind of payment(s) do you accept? Once you decide to buy a lesson I’ll send you an invoice with instructions on how to pay via PayPal. I also accept credit cards, cash, and checks in person.
- Do I need to bring my own sewing machine to class? No, unless you want to. If you want to learn how to use your machine it’s best for you to bring it. If you don’t have your own machine, or don’t want to lug it around, you are welcome to use my machines. I have a computerized home sewing machine and a serger available for your use. The same goes for tools – you are welcome to bring and use your favorite scissors, but all of my tools are also at your disposal during the lesson.
- Do I need to bring my own supplies to class? Yes. Once we decide what project you want to make, I will send you a list of the materials you need to bring.
- Do you teach online? Yes! Let’s chat to make sure what you want to learn is something that can be taught remotely. I am available via FaceTime, Zoom, and Skype.
- Can 2 people take a lesson together? Not at this time. The studio is too small for more than one student to have room to work comfortably in the space.
- Can the class be held at a different location? Not at this time. All classes are held at the instructor’s home studio.
- Is there parking nearby? There is free street parking right out the front door, but please observe posted signs about street sweeping. If no parking is available at the time of your lesson, you are welcome to park in the driveway.
